Looking back on my journey over the past four years since running for council in 2021, I realize how much I’ve grown through my experiences in public service. Initially, I thought my desire to help friends and family would naturally translate into community involvement. However, as I began engaging with residents through door knocking and conversations, I discovered a profound sense of purpose. This journey has solidified my commitment to the principle of service above self, which continues to inspire me to seek a council position once more.
