Thank you, Spruce Grove

Election day has come and gone and I have to say that I am humbled and honoured at the support that you have given me. Thank you, Spruce Grove! I'm so grateful for the trust you have placed in me to help steward the city through the next four years (and beyond!). I look forward to the challenge and I am eager to get started!

Congratulations and thank you to all those who put their name forward to run. It's no easy task and it takes a lot of intestinal fortitude to endure the run in the name of public service. Brad, Spencer, Jan, Erin, Danielle, and Mayor Acker, I look forward to working together in the years to come.

I have to give a huge shout out to all those who directly or indirectly helped with the #TeamTokar campaign. We could not have had the success we had without your endless support. From the kids (and adults) who helped deliver our literature, to those who took or helped with signs, to those who made a financial contribution, I cannot thank you enough for all you did!

There were also many people supporting behind the scenes, but I really have to call out my kids for enduring and giving up evenings and weekends in the name of the election. And extra special thanks to my wife and campaign manager, Michelle Tokar. It was a difficult summer for me, but she kept everything on track and moving smoothly all the way long.
